I visited South Korea a few weeks after my trip to North Korea. I had never really considered a trip there before but after seeing the DPRK I was curious to see how the South was while my impressions were still fresh. The two countries had been one up until the end of the second world war but then had followed very different paths and my interest was primarily to see the results of over half a century of communism on one side and capitalism on the other.
